Having been invested in the baking and pastry industries for several years, OCF is proud to support the 10th annual Trophy for Talent, Consultation and Sales in Boulangerie-Pâtisserie, which will take place on 27 and 28 November of this year in Vesoul, in Haute-Saône.
As an official partner of the competition, OCF will support the young student participants throughout the various elements of the finals. OCF will be providing all the refrigerated sales equipment, the sales counters and pastry cabinets. This will give the students the benefit of a professional environment, allowing them to compete under the most favourable conditions. The finals take place over the course of two days, and are organised by the French National Boulangerie Pâtisserie Confederation, as part of the 7th annual Week of Excellence.
This competition provides a sort of ‘display cabinet’, showcasing the role of salespeople in the Boulangerie Pâtisserie industry, a job that is still not widely recognised, and making the public aware of the training and career opportunities on offer. The competition also aims to help the salespeople grow, in terms of their skills and responsibilities, developing their involvement as consultants within the boulangerie-pâtisserie industry, and adapting the boulangerie profession in order to meet customers’ expectations.
